Manatee Appreciation Day

Manatee Appreciation Day

Every year on the fourth Wednesday of March, it’s Manatee Appreciation Day, a day dedicated to learning about, appreciating, and helping these gentle giants. Manatees continue to face many threats, from habitat loss to watercraft collisions. Save the Manatee Club is commemorating Manatee Appreciation Day this year by sharing manatee facts, videos, quizzes, and Q&A sessions with experts online all day.
