In 1997 a young entrepreneurial couple opted to start a coffee company that would help in the survival efforts of the manatee. Their concept was simple, to produce a wonderful, low acidic coffee that consumers would enjoy with part of the proceeds contributing to the preservation efforts and well being of endangered manatees.
